The Morgan Electric Resistance Bale Out Furnaces Mk IV E and Mk V E are efficient and reliable crucible bale out furnaces for melting and holding. They are constructed using efficient low thermal mass lining materials, minimising energy costs. The Mk IV HE and Mk V HE offer superb insulation allows for excellent melting performance at high power efficiencies, consistent with long element panel life. Radiation losses are minimised by use of a well insulated locking swing-aside cover that can be sealed when no baling is needed.

King-Size Electric Resistance Bale Out Furnace

Electric Resistance Tilting Furnace

The ERBT MK IV offers rugged construction combining a heavy gauge carbon steel outer shell and a high insulating lining package. The lining package is a multi component insulating system that includes Thermal Ceramics microporous insulation–BTU Block. This material has the lowest thermal conductivity of any insulation material on the market today and has the effect of stopping heat transfer through the furnace walls. The design and construction of the ERBT MK IV allows excellent melting performances to be achieved at high power efficiencies from lightly loaded elements.
