Gas Fired Bale Out Furnace Mk IV E (Efficiency) Constructed using low thermal mass materials for the lining and provides economy in energy costs. The insulation allows for good melting performance from the high performance compact gas burner. High alumina panels efficiently convert combustion products into radiant energy to maximise heat transfer. Radiation losses are minimised by use of a lift off type cover that can be fitted when no baling out is needed. The furnace is fitted with an exhaust extension. |

Gas / Oil Lift Out Crucible Furnace The steel furnace casing is lined with 60% alumina firebricks backed with high-grade insulation. All L.O furnaces are designed for operation with Morganite Excel or Clay-graphite crucibles and stands. The swingaside cover of the furnace has a central exhaust which deflects the exhaust flame over the top of the crucible to preheat the solid charge. Gas / Oil Basin Tilting Furnace Mk IV The Morgan Basin Tilting IV Furnace is specially designed for rapid bulk melting for both die-casting and general non-ferrous foundries. The standard furnace utilises the supercharge preheating technique where the waste gases, being exhausted over the tope of the crucible, preheat the solid charge. This considerably improves the thermal efficiency of the melting process, reducing fuel consumption. The furnace can alternatively be supplied with a back exhaust when waste gas contact on charge material must be avoided. Gas / Oil Basin Tilting Furnace Mk V The Morgan Basin Tilting Furnace is specially designed for efficient, rapid, bulk melting of metals for both diecasting and non-ferrous foundries. The standard furnace utilizes the supercharge preheating technique where the waste gases, being exhausted over the top of the crucible, preheat the solid charge. The steel furnace casing is lined to suit the application with either MORGAN radiant panels or panels backed by high grade insulation. For high temperature applications: High alumina brick linings designed to accommodate MORGAN crucibles and stands. Gas / Oil Central Axis Tilting Furnace The steel furnace casing is lined with high grade refractories, backed by insulation, to suit the application and is designed to accommodate MORGANITE Salamander crucibles and stands. Central Axis pouring is achieved by tilting the furnace body about a central point by means of a conveniently placed hand-wheel. Molten metal is poured over the top of the crucible into the transfer ladle. Alternatively, the furnace can be fitted with a spouted crucible and muffle ring. Exhaust gases pass through a number of parts in the refractory cover around the crucible. In addition, the furnace can be fitted with a back exhaust.
