PORTABLE DEGASSING UNIT
The new MorganMMS Portable Degassing Unit is compact in size and designed specifically for degassing crucibles and ladles. This rugged built unit features a durable air motor to provide shaft rotation. Using a unique rotor design, it offers superior gas shearing while ensuring complete mixing of the crucible. The result is superior metal treatment in less time.
This light weight unit is easy to handle and can be moved from crucible to crucible. Three adjustable legs allow the operator to adjust the depth of the rotor to the proper level in the crucible. The unit sits on top of the crucible sill and can be used with crucibles with an opening up to 45” (1143mm) in diameter.
