A training course was recently held at Morgan Molten Metal Systems (Morganite Crucible Ltd) from September 11-13, 2006, in the United Kingdom for representatives of a number of our agents from around the world. The attendees took part in an extensive two and a half day program, which included presentations on the Morgan Molten Metal Systems’ range of crucibles, foundry products, furnaces and the care and use of these products. New product developments were also discussed as well as a tour of the manufacturing plant and a demonstration of the analytical, developmental and product testing facilities.
The mixture of nationalities comprised of people from Germany, Israel, Italy, Sweden, Turkey and the United Kingdom.
Global Product Managers, Rich Kimberley and David Whincup; Technical Director, Andy Wynn; and Chief Furnace Design Engineer, Bob Thomas provided the technical instruction with support from a number of people including Dieter Heumannskamper, the Technical Manager from Carl Nolte Sohne in Germany.
