Heat Treatment Container

HTCs are premium quality, clay graphite containers with a high silicon carbide content, that is manufactured through an advanced isostatic pressing process. Morgan Molten Metal Systems uses a proprietary processing technology that results in a product with a very homogenous and high density structure. This allows the Heat Treatment Container to obtain superior thermal conductivity over its entire operating temperature range, high mechanical strength and erosion resistance along with good thermal shock resistance.

Applications

Heat Treatment Containers are suitable for heat treatment of carbonized parts, ceramic slurry waste as well as parts for the pencil industry.

Typical Application Temperature

700°C - 1300°C (1292°F - 2372°F)
