Completion of Sale of MMS
Further to the announcement of 22 August 2025, Morgan Advanced Materials plc., announces that on 12 November 2025 it completed the sale of its Molten Metal Systems (MMS) business.
Functional coatings are thin coverings that can be used on crucibles to significantly improve performance, reduce impurities when melting and holding pure alloys. It also stops dross build up and makes clean up fast and easy.
Applications
Coatings can be used in aluminium applications, zinc distillation, precious metals and pure copper melting.
Preheating/First Use
The chemically bonded coatings do not impact or change in any way the installation or start-up/heating procedures for the crucible in which it has been applied.
